Like Falling In Love!

When we read a good book, view good art, watch a good play and listen to good music, it’s kind of like falling in love.

Enjoying the arts gives your brain a hug of dopamine – the feel good chemical.

The Festival of the Arts, Oct. 24 to 26, brings all our talented artists to one venue, making it easy to experience that rush of satisfaction in the sharing between artist and patron.

Prose, poetry, music, the visual arts, crafts, dance and theatre connect your inner world with your outer reality to enhance your happiness.

According to psychologist Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, appreciation of art is at the pinnacle of the pyramid. It may be a climb but it’s worth every step.
