After a busy spring and summer spent coordinating FOTA’s Photo Competition, Patricia Calder is getting ready to exhibit her own photography.
Patricia has lived in Northumberland County for 24 years and has built a reputation as a photographer and author. Known for her commissioned photographs of horses and dogs, she is much sought after to create visual memories of these beloved animal friends.
She took on the task of coordinating the Festival’s Photo Competition and, as we expected, Patricia did a wonderful job and thoroughly enjoyed her role.
Patricia says of the competition:
“The photo competition revealed exciting talent and new images from both experienced and novice photographers, all in our own county. When I first viewed the collection of pictures in the competition, I felt inspired. Such a beautiful variety, especially in the youth category. The quality of imagery is outstanding.”
