The festival events might be over, but the ripples continue, and Northumberland’s art community grows stronger.
In general, most art festivals generate only a third of their revenue from ticket sales. If we’re lucky, another third comes from government funding, and the final third comes from local businesses, arts organizations and private donors, as well as artists who perform at reduced fees and volunteers who provide services of all kinds.
They do this, because, like NFOTA, they believe in Northumberland’s art community. NFOTA thanks all those who believed in what we were doing with this festival and stepped up to support us.
We hope to continue this collaboration in the future and create more success stories together.

Sing it! Say it! Play it!
Did you know that our theme reflects the range of artistic disciplines offered at NFOTA, and was inspired by a song composed for NFOTA by three local musicians and singers, Lynn C. Bilton, Christopher Cameron, and Marie-Lynn Hammond. The trio collaborated and gifted their song , “Spread the Word, to NFOTA. It was recorded locally at the Northumberland Music Studio, or Studio 29, in Warkworth.”
