A Cup of Conversation: Slow Art Day at the Art Gallery of Northumberland

“I am learning how to look at pictures. What has changed is my capacity of feeling. Art opens the heart.”

Jeanette Winterson
Art Gallery of Northumberland

On April 2, the Art Gallery of Northumberland is celebrating Slow Art Day with A Cup of Conversation, an opportunity to explore art works and have conversations about art with other art lovers from the community, and with POSE curator, Avery Geboers.

Slow Art Day is a global event, which encourages people to slow down and spend time looking at and appreciating visual art.

Northumberland Festival of the Arts is a volunteer-run not-for-profit arts organization.

What a great idea. I see Ukraine had a museum slated to open for this … before the current devastating situation. The AGN is on my calendar.
