Donna Wootton speaks with textile and fibre artist Ixchel Suarez about Oak Heights Art Gallery, relocating to Northumberland County, the Canadian Tapestry Centre–her not-for-profit organization which works with young people, those with special needs, and older adults–and upcoming events at the gallery, including a medieval festival in July.

Northumberland Festival of the Arts will take place across Northumberland County from September 16 – October 2, 2022.

On September 18, as part of Northumberland Festival of the Arts, Oak Heights Gallery will host a concert with singer-actor Fabian Arciniegas.
