Join us on September 13, 2024, at 7 PM in the historic Victoria Hall, Cobourg, for an unforgettable evening of music and mentorship at the Northumberland Festival of the Arts. This year, we’re thrilled to present “Together We Can II: Music Across the Generations,” a concert celebrating the talent and creativity of Canadian singer-songwriters across different ages.

Curated by the talented local musician and singer/songwriter Shannon Linton, this unique inter-generational concert will showcase the original music of seven diverse Canadian artists. Shannon, along with established mentors Melissa Payne, Jakeb, and Cale Crowe, has spent months preparing emerging youth artists Kira Gelineau, Rayleigh Zimmerman, and Ryan Scott for this night. The program includes co-writing sessions, career advice, and community-building events, culminating in a performance where each artist will share their original songs.

The final performance will not only highlight the works of the mentors but also debut exciting new music from the youth participants. This event is a celebration of musical innovation and the transfer of knowledge and inspiration between generations.
