Revenge is a dish best served cold….or in Cobourg!
A murderous, scheming group of historical characters linked to Cobourg’s past escape the Dark Afterlife and appear in Cobourg determined to avenge their perceived horrible past treatment by Cobourg and its people. Another group of characters with ties to Cobourg and Northumberland Country over the last 150 years are all sent from the Heavenly Afterlife to stop the heinous plan.
Will the vengeful plan succeed, or will the good guys be able to send them back to the Dark Afterlife?
Filled with intrigue, mystery, history, and a song and dance, this play will keep you captivated, and you may even learn some history of Northumberland County.

Dining with the Dead is proud to be part of the Northumberland Festival of the Arts. It was written and directed by Michael Khashmanian and presented by the Cobourg Museum Foundation. Performances will be at the historic Sifton-Cooke Heritage Centre, with dinner served prior to the show at the new Cobourg Legion. The dinner theatre will run September 29, 30, October 1, 2, October 6, 7, 8, and 9.
