Wow! What an exciting line-up we have for the Northumberland Festival of the Arts 2024! We are working hard to curate events that will capture your imagination and maybe even bring out the artist in you.

Here’s a sneak peek :

• Together We Can 2024: Music Across the Generations
  • Inter-generational singer/songwriters work together over the summer and show you what can be achieved through collaboration
• WOW! Words on a Wire
  • A multi-media poetry event – readings, video, sculpture and more. Join local and regional poets as we embrace the lyric, massage the metaphor, and suffuse the surreal
• Tipi Gathering
  • Alderville First Nation invites you to join them around the tipi fire to hear about the work being done to preserve survivor stories and other indigenous oral history.
• The Ekphrastic Project
  • Local artists from the Cobourg Art Club inspire poets from the Spirit of the Hills Writers Group to create ekphrastic art – one art form inspired by another
• Art in the Afternoon
  • Try your hand at watercolour painting in a lakeside setting.

But wait – there’s more! Way more!

Okay, there is more, 20+ events to date, but you will have to wait. We will tell you more in the coming weeks.
