Northumberland Art Lovers: Reva Nelson

“Resilience is not just handling stress or getting on with it, but it’s the ability to bounce back from difficult situations…get through them, but actually emerge stronger and better.”

Reva Nelson

NFOTA’s Shane Joseph interviews Reva Nelson, former actor, teacher librarian, seminar leader and keynote speaker across Canada and internationally.

In this series we feature interviews and discussions with Individual Artists, Leaders of Arts Groups and Organizations, Civic Leaders, and other Arts Lovers in our county.

Reva Nelson will be offering a workshop, Bounce Back: Creating Resilience from Adversity, September 27, 10:30 AM at Port Hope Library, as part of Northumberland Festival of the Arts.

“There might be some collaborations that come out of it, just from people meeting each other, but mostly support, understanding and some new ideas…sharing and getting a perspective you might not have come to yourself.”

“When you think of scientists and researchers, they fail all the time. They’re always failing and always learning, and they keep on going.”
